Hi, my name is Mick,
My photographic path started with a small compact Samsung like people taking pictures on holiday, liked the quality and thought I have an eye for the subject. I learnt about digital photography, taking thousands of photos for a very small budget. I dabbled with Photoshop but felt I needed to expand my knowledge and joined Stafford Camera Club, progressing and furthering my skills by attending numerous talks’ by professional seasoned photographers. I now have a decent Nikon D3200, which I use regularly, plus my Samsung Galaxy S3 for quick shots
I offer my services to certain charities so they have photographic content for their websites, attending many key events to raise awareness. I help with Lorraine Conkey company LR Partnership raising funds for many charities in the area, and I am involved in trying to save listed buildings in Stafford and I am a member of several groups:-Stafford Remembered, Save the Library, Friends of Stafford
Events I cover as a photographer are Staffs Fest, Q in the Park and various charity fundraisers
See you at Staffs Fest
Hello, I would like to introduce myself to you all. My name is Malcolm Beeston and I shall be one of the official photographer for Staffs Fest 2017. This is an exciting event that I know will produce lots of amazing music as well as dynamic photographic opportunities.
I am an amateur photographer, however, I have enjoyed its varied applications for many years. Having now fully retired, I find I have a great deal more time spare to devote to my hobby. Festivals and events such as the Staffs Fest are always an enjoyable venue for me to use my skills. Here I invariably find the creative freedom of the acts and obvious enjoyment of the audience, positively influences the results. It ensures that the genre is always a happy, enthusiastic, colourful opportunity in which photography can ceate a unique reference point for good memories.
