AED Donate is the charity that Staffs Fest is championing this year
AED Donate is a charity based in Stone High Street which aims to put portable defibrillators in public spaces – including in vehicles. AED Donate will have a stand at Staffs Fest and will be selling raffle tickets to win a brand new car.
Joshua Cope Community Fundraiser said,
“Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA) is the leading cause of premature death in just 8 minutes…
However with effective CPR and the deployment of a defibrillator in 3-5 minutes, a victim’s survival chances increase from just 6% to 75%.
AED Donate is a charity that supports the community and helps fundraise for automated external defibrillators (AED), installing them in community spaces.
Our aim is to have a defibrillator positioned no more than a 2-minute brisk walk away.
With a team of just 6 people, AED Donate has already funded, installed and registered over 1,100 AEDs across the country – some of which have been deployed frequently and successfully saved lives. AED Donate provides reassurance to the community not just by supporting its fundraisers but also through Community Training sessions.
We are activity seeking volunteers to help us at events across the county and in our shop in Stone as our reach has now extended nationally.
We would love to see you at Staffs Fest, please come over and say ‘Hi’ and ask any questions and of course have a chance to win a brand new car £2 a ticket “
