For the second year running we have selected musical hopefuls within the Staffordshire area who will showcase their talent on the main stage at Staffs Fest. The competition will start at 11 am and the finalists have three tracks to wow the audience and judges. The first time this Telford band will be playing at Staffs Fest and we are really looking forward to hearing them play. The Endings are a five-piece folk rock band with an Irish twist, a real uptempo, good time music, playing originals and covers that will have you up and dancing Recently performing at Ey Up Mi Duck festival and due to play at Farmer Phil’s to only name a couple of festivals the band are involved in this year

Callum another discovery at Q in the Park 2017 . 16 year old singer songwriter Callum comes from Yarnfield Nr Stone . Callum also was part of the Staffs Fest Warm Up last month at The White Eagle Club and his performance of his own kind of country style was a pleasure to listen too. Callum has various gigs lined up and has happily been interviewed by several radio stations coming across as a confident and polite young man

Millie Bea’s Marquee 5.00 Ged Wilson
Blues singer Ged Wilson will be performing for the fourth time and this year as part of the Ged Wilson Duo, Ged teamed up with bass player Pat Rowbottom, the driving force behind Cold Flame, to form a duo that enhances and embellish Ged’s music and live performance. The duo format will open new opportunities for Ged and Pat to take their music forward. Pat and Ged have completed a successful tour of Northern France in April 2018

Pistol Pete first appeared at the festival in 2015 and is making a welcome return this year. Local Stafford lad Pete has gone from strength year to year travelling and gigging up and down the country at some of the top festivals. BLOKE are a four piece Rock band hailing from Cannock, Staffordshire, UK. BLOKE are none other than Pete (Guitar/ Vocals), Dave (Bass/ Backing Vocals), Sutty (Keyboards/Backing Vocals) & Paul (Drums).
BLOKE, over the years have toured and worked with some of the biggest names in the music business, including, Glen Hughes, Toyah Wilcox, Feeder & Wolfsbane.

Cold Flame have appeared at Staffs Fest (Stafford Blues Festival) for the last three years and always deliver an energetic seamless performance that certainly blows you away
An original blues and progressive folk rock band formed in 1984 and based in Derbyshire England. The band are also the premier Jethro Tull tribute band in the UK. Local band from Cannock/Stafford The Rock Dogs will finish off the night on Saturday with their usual high energy performance made more poignant as this will be the last time this line up of the band will be performing as lead singer Chris Cornes will be leaving the band after this performance so I’m sure we are in for an explosive performance
The Dogs play covers from the likes of Kings of Leon, Foo Fighters, Robbie and Maroon 5.
