Staffs Fest championed Millie Bea’s Walking Wish for the last two years Millie Bea is a little 3 year old girl from Abbotts Bromley (Staffordshire) with spastic diplegia cerebral palsy. She needs an operation called SDR and afterwards intensive physiotherapy, which is NOT funded by the NHS.
Since Millie was diagnosed two years ago, her parents Natalie and Chris Hughes have raised an amazing £73,000 . Millie Bea had her assessment at the Portland Hospital and thankfully was a suitable candidate for the SDR surgery the specialists recommended she have botox injections, she received her first injection was on Mon 13th February 2017. The injections took the tightness away temporarily so she can build up the weak muscles
