DemenNus is an artiste born and grew up in Jamaica, In the parish of St Thomas in a small district called Cedar Valley. as a child, DemenNus was surrounded with a lot of musical inspiration. He was first inspired by his Grandfather whom later on introduced him to Quadrill a famous Jamaican’s foundation type of music in-which involved the elders playing in assembly with various of types of instruments to create that sweet Native sounds. This is in fact where Deminus learned how played the drums in assembly and also singing with a band. Deminus also partook in playing and learning other instruments at his family church of Baptist. He’s was also renounced for playing musical instruments at school while backing school friends in musical curriculum’s and during his lunch time periods.
After leaving Jamaica at the age of 17, he travelled to the UK, and whilst residing in Birmingham, Deminus continued with his love and passion for music, leading him to meet various of young artists and producers, getting familiar with sound systems and preforming with some of Birmingham’s most experienced musicians. He went on to experiment with different types of music where he gain the opportunity to meet and work alongside some of the great Steel Pulse band members. Sharing stage with the legendary Lee Scratch Perry, who’s known as the former producer for the great Bob Marley.
At the moment DemenNus career is rapidly expanding, as you can check out is new single called Flaming Fire, and his hot collaboration with Candice Gabbidon called Footsteps.
Playing many gigs in the West Midlands area and recently live on stage in Stafford Market Square during Stafford Walking Street
